Pacific (area known to effect UK climate)

1962 only USA test only

39 atmospheric thermonucular tests
(all approx)
20 - low yeald
5 - half megaton
10 - around 1 megaton
1 - 3 megaton
1 - 4 megaton
1 - 7.6 megaton
1 - 8.3 megaton

delicate ozone layer 10 - 50 klm high

1963 - one of the worst winters in the UK.

This does not seem to be a popularly known or talked about. I present events, possible cause and possible resulting effects.

Please - no more stupid ignorant an 'H-Bomb is no more than a thunderstorm' answers.

There's approx a total of 37 meggatons of atmospheric thermonucular tests in 1962 USA only.

Now can it be said there is some sort of thought that could suggest this may have caused the 1963 harsh winter and latterly damaged the ozone layer, which in turn 'could' eventually cause a slight global increase in temperature over the next few decades.

Not such a taxable theory tho.
