What's to understand?
'Normal' folk I believe can understand points from 1st to 8th; and Pole and Fastest Lap. Don't NEED to understand Q3 except fastest driver gets pole not lightest car (except teams will probably juggle fuel load between drivers)- pretty simple concept I would have thought.
Only questionable bits are the last 2 points (pardon the pun) but then I've never had all the answers.
I fear 'normal' folk will find it hard to grasp how 1 win + 17dnf's beats 18 2nds according to the Dwarf's calculations.
