Why doesn't Bernie adopt the reality TV approach and have a worldwide audience vote after the race is over and let them decide who should have won. Throw in a celebrity into the race at the last minute and have random penalties [oh sorry, we've already got that now I forgot].

Bring back the much loved James Allen so that he could add his 2 cents worth on important factors like Robert Kubica's good looks and hey presto you've the complete package. In fact Bernie would also be able to bolster his coffers even further with huge revenue in telephone income !
