No it isn't Steve!

They want the fillowing things:-

* Industry standard
* No need fo extra training (EVERY KID knows how to use Excel and Word)
* Staff who actually HAVE a copy at home or can be GIVEN a copy for home which is MUCH cheaper for the companies than buying ANOTHER copy of over priced Apple based software
* Compatibility with client's existing software

The second part is that the IT Director wants to avoid being SACKED! If something goes wrong on the Apples that he's bought, what does he SAY to his BOARD???? But if he's bought PC.... he can ALWAYS say: "Damn it, it's not MY fault.... I bought the INDUSTRY STANDARD stuff!".

Believe me, that's a CLINCHER in a sales line to an IT Director who is DESPERATE to 'cover his a***@! There are VERY few 'prizes' for 'innovative' IT-directors!
