Thanks Dave

I hadn't looked at what I'd written again since I wrote it either. But Having read it again, I pretty well stand by what I said, despite the continued stick from Itpro.

I don't get how he fails to recognise the validity of my point of view, even if his view differs.

If you accept the fact that there is still huge amounts of science at a planetry level that our scientists has yet to discover let alone understand then it is no great leap to suppose that without this information any other science relating to it is flawed.

Thus until science proclaims that they know everything about the planet and can model and predict its future climate exactly, then I will remain sceptical of any interim claims or predictions made, to the point where I don't see much point in wasting time reading about it.

The context of this is that I still retain some faith in world leadership to do the right thing based on the advice they receive, at least on a saving mankind kind of level. So I base my belief or skepticism on what they are doing, if they said we must all cut our carbon emmissions tomorrow by 80%(or we're all going to die) and so we're going to make everyone do it, I would then believe the problem exists and would comply.

However when they say 'let's do a little bit over the next 10 years, but only as long as it doesn't have too much effect on trade and finance', I don't believe in the problem and consquently I don't believe in any so called solutions.
