When I first started simon wright recommended esso or elf fuel becuse it has fewer additives.

The comment on here the other day about the significance of calorific value has a ring of truth about it, how you'd test this im not sure?

Apparently fuel can take on moisture if it does not move at the pump. This will be particularly true of premium brands like optimax/v power from small stations.
