What programme are you trying to play them in? if you are using windows media player then it is likely that you will need to download a codec in order to watch the films. you can do this by right clicking on the file name (while in media player) and then i think you click web help (or something similar and follow the directions to download the codec.
then hopefully you should be able to view the film as well as hearing it.
