Anyone ordered Sky HD Lately?

Upon calling Sky to place an order to upgrade from Sky+ to Sky+ HD. the Sky person said that I would get an email and text to confirm my order. This duly arrived within hours but I was astonished to read that I had been placed on their order list and that I would be contacted at a later date with the installation details. The current estimated delivery time being approximately 3 MONTHS!
Is everyone going HD or are Sky guilty of over selling and unable to match demand? Given this wait and the cr*p that is on most of the Sky channels I am now thinking of just buying a Freesat HD Box, so does anyone here have one of these and are they any good?
