Ive got a Sky+ (SD) and I also bought a Freesat HD box for Ł50 new as theres extra outputs on the Sky lnb. The problem with Freesat HD is theres only 2 HD channels and they are not full time. However the quality of picture, even on the rest of the SD channels, is amazing - I guess because of using HDMI rather than s-vhs to transfer the picture. I would reccomend a recordable HD Freesat box - if you can put up with the limited amount of channels at the moment - when C4 HD and a few other ones get on there it will eb the way to go - I only have Sky for Eurosport and Motors TV to be honest, plus The Simpson on SKY1.
