David.... you are worrying me, here.
This stuff isn't complicated.
I believe we ARE right to impose our view... however, I do NOT claim that the ONLY people on whom we are RIGHT to impose our view is MUSLIMS or any OTHER group of people or religious followers. The differences between our opinions seems to be that we CAN do it to Muslims but we CANNOT let them do it to US!
I have not seem you complain about Catholic on Protestant violence, Protestant on Catholic violence, British on Muslim violence, .... but I HAVE seem you complain about almost ANY action, including PREACHING by Muslims on British.
And you wonder why I am concerned by your veiws!
Your inconsistencies are HUGE. For example, you state:-
"I support live and let live as long as I'm getting back what I'm giving out"
Well..... CURRENTLY 'you' (your country) is 'giving out' religious preaching (missionaries), high levels of Violence against a Muslim Country, supprting Israel AGAINST various Muslim countries, supporting America who has been DETAINING Muslims without trial, capturing Muslims and sending them for Torture to Afghanistan (via the Yanks), etc., etc., etc..
But.... should Muslim Preachers want to preach THEIR 'gospel' here, .... oh no... that's a DIFFERENT matter.... in THAT case, unless they accept OUR ways or they should 'go home'.
Can you explain to me in WHAT way that fits your views about "getting back what I'm giving out"?
...because nobody ELSE would be able to reconcile those who concepts with your views!
