You always give blood lying down just in case you do feel faint and ,they don't tend to rush you of the bed when they have finished,let you have a moment or two before taking you to the tea and bikky area.

One thing that used to make me laugh when I was donating whilst in the Army ,BATS, British Army Transfusion Service, and the little bat badge with the fangs !
