"So Ian, given that right now, the only way to stop ALL deaths on the road is for nobody to exceed 10mph are you going to start driving everywhere at 10mph? "
Why not? If thats what the LAW says, then thats what we should do. If it DID reduce the KSI figures to (almost) zero, what would be wrong with that? Your driving licence is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. You accept with it the responsibility to obey the rules of the road. If you want to drive fast, use a racetrack. On those, too, you accept the rules (or should do).
Those who insist on BREAKING the rules must accept the consequences, and stop bleating about 'persecution'.
