The principle of ANPR is fine... however, if the car is insured to someone ELSE or they are running 'parallel' (cloned) plates from another similar car, then the ANPR will NOT notice the problem.

Nasty little ****s like this bloke usually simply copy the plates of another car/bike. hence the suggestion for an 'insurance disk 'and 'licence disk' with your PHOTO on it! If the pictures on your windscreen do NOT look like you.... then you AIN'T covered!
