I stayed up for the first session when Heikki was 5th and Lewis was 16th.
I now see that in the second session, they were closer (almost identical times) to each other....
BUT.... quite a bit of the 'close-up' was that (unlike other quick drivers) Heikki was SLOWER in the second session than he had been in the first! In fact BOTH drivers went BACKWARD on the grid in the second session even though Lewis went faster than before. Had Heikki repeated his first session time, he would have been 8th in the second session rather than the 17th he ended up.
Heikki was THROWING the car at the track in the frist session whereas Lewis just LOOKED 'lost' in the car.
