If no one ever died, and no one ever got injured, and no car ever got damaged etc. No one would care even the slightest bit what causes accidents as there would be no consequences.
It's a minor point really but it shows you that what we all really care about is what happens during the accident, not the actual cause. If you hear someones had a serious accident your first question is "are they ok" not "what caused the accident". Your argument 100% focuses on the causes of accidents, you need to widen your vision and see that how we affect the consequences is v.important too. And that is to do with speed (which, I assume, is why you aren't addressing it)
