Hear hear Chris!
Like in Karting: results stand after 30 minutes from end of last final, provided no appeals.
End of.
If officials didn't spot it on the day or no one complained about it, the offence didn't occur! It's their job to catch the mistakes/cheats as much as is ours not to fail/cheat in the first place.
They get paid for the day job not for rectifying the mistakes they made in the aftermath.
