Terrible news.

Another thing to remember is that to alot of young Senior Karters/Car Drivers, Henry was part of their "generation" of race drivers (me included).

I myself came very close to suffering a serious injury/death whilst racing only a few weeks ago. I came back a week later and won a championship. It goes to show just what fine of a line there is in luck between surviving and dying.

I think there will be a few young drivers sitting tonight wondering if they want to carry on racing. I just hope that the powers that be learn from this incident and improve the safety of our sport to reduce the risk of anything like what happened from happening again

RIP Henry Surtees.
