and it is not your fault, you have been living too long in the modern world, you expect and rely on others to get you the basics and expect them to always be there, but what would you do if systems failed, do you have a back up plan for food, water and shelter for any gaps in service, could be swine flu, war or ............add to the list, or rely on the elected to look after you, we are lucky to believe nothing will happen but it has also made us "children", we do not know how to get the basics we need....fooled into thinking others will provide we forget the basic skills
