I'm cynicle, but good god.
Is it better for "innovative upstart", "ethnically different" or "non name"
No one knows so what is the point of trying to manipulate it. F1, as most major sports, have been about money and not the sport for a long time. However F1 is watched by fans and be honest you would watch regardless of what is happening or who is winning or by what margin.You can't drag more viewers in by manipulating the results because anybody who dosent already watch couldn't care less even if it was a lesbian dwarf in a peddle car winning.
