A can of lager is Ł4!!!

You get very little change for a tenner for any purchase at Silverstone! Feeling of "captive audience" creep in as soon as you approach the village!
Everyone is hell-bent on taking as much as they can!
Last time we went to the GP we bought ahead on the Internet a Hamper for Ł60, which at the time we thought was a bit steep, it turned-up to be the cheapest and best value for money (short of packed sandwiches) purchase we did that weekend.

Little to say that including all the costs associated with that weekend would have perhaps afforded us to go to (flights included) two European GP's!
