I doubt whether Ron Dennis subscribes to this.....but I'll bet he's rather upset by the blatant 'unfairness' of it all. Personally, I feel a ban would have been difficult due to the politics of a major car manufacturer being involved (Hmmmm..hearing in Paris??). The punishments McLaren have had to endure for far, far lesser matters were totally out of proportion. I also wonder about Alonso's knowledge of this.....sure I read somewhere that he never questioned being brought in early for fuel. Quite frankly, I think it's a disgrace.....the £50 fine I got from 'non production of licence' hurt my pocket more than a million quid would to Renault!!!
