A while back somebody very knowledgeable on the matter posted some great information on buying plasma and LCD TVs... it would be brilliant if they could pop back on and give us some up to date recommendations.

I'm looking to get 2 TV sets.

o A medium sized, reasonably priced, plasma capable of handling HD reception - at the moment I'm considering the Panasonic TX42X10 which is around the GBP800.00 mark. Would really like the V10... but not sure whether its worth the extra.

o A smaller 26" LCD with built in HDD also capable of handing HD reception.

Also, a question on whether I'm better off going down the route of LED-backlit LCD than standard LCD or Plasma.

All advice gratefully received as always.
