Thinking about this, isn't this argument just an extension, the final act hopefully, of the century long struggle between Communism and Fascism?

They are supposed to be opposite ends of the spectrum but actually loop back round to be side by side in their raw form, both just as as evil and disgusting as each other in what they have done.

In this country though, Communism managed to Morph itself, via Socialism, to be Social Democrats and now quasi liberal democrats and we seem to accept that. The only reason that we do not view Communism with such ferocity is that the vile regimes survived long enough to write and sell its own history, conveniently forgetting its own excesses. If the Nazi had won the war, what we read about their history would also be very different.

But in terms of change, call it moderation, whose to say that the same cannot happen to Fascism, at the moment they are still in the Nationalist stage, but it's not a massive step now to achieve widely popular policy.

Of course the hidden agenda scenario is scary, but what political part doesn't have one? At the very least what is needed is some polarised thinking in Politics to counter the 3 different coloured Liberal Democrat parties we have at the moment.
