I don`t want to turn this thread into a "you should use so and so" theme, because I am going to ship BT in the new year and I`ll think about who I`ll use then, but I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this months direct debit fiasco involving this corporation of pilferers, or maybe if someone works for them, (my sympathies) then maybe they can explain a little further.

I know that BT are a total rip off anyway, but, I`ve been with them for a long time (landline + broadband) and procrastination as much as ANYTHING has seen me remain with them, although in fairness, despite the expense, I havent had any service problems.........but enough is enough!!!!!!!!

Checked my bank account online today and my BT direct debit for December is virtually double its usual amount. I don`t receive a paper bill, and never check the online bill, because, quite simply, I don`t use my land line phone for making any calls, so literally the payment never varies by any more than a few pence.

Checking the online bill, there is a statement of convoluted waffle which I simply don`t understand (and also defy anyone else to do so either) about bringing advance rental months into line and that next month the direct debit will be back to it`s usual amount........

So basically, these thieving a**holes have pinched an extra month, pure and simple.

It can`t have just happened to me surely, anyone else have anything similar?

Suppose what they have done must be legal, though I`m not sure how.......
