Paul i think some of it will come down to planning permission, they only have permission to run so many meetings and trackdays a year and im sure they are or where running the maximum meets a year already, all of these are split between quiet and loud days, karts would fall into the loud catergory so end up being run along side a bike or car meeting. If you want to race there then just sell your rotax and get an icc or an open, both great fun around donington.

They also had a moto x track there but was shut down due to noise altough i did hear rumours a few years ago it was to be resurected and they were pushing for a round of the world championship
