These things do exist! Some years ago when leaded petrol started to dissapear from the pumps there were a number of these things available for older cars that would not be happy running on unleaded fuel. They all were very similar to the one in the photo and apparently worked!
Th advertise this one for a Reliant is perfectly feaseable as I believe no Reliant car was ever produced with a cat or the closed loop injection system required to maintan lamda 1.
So maybe it is not a spoof, be careful before making accusations.
