The Hanford was great when introduced in the indycart series. I think I remember more overtakes in one lap on the Michigan Speedway than F1 had seen in 5 years.

I agree the Hanford is a must for F1, and it could be used for advertising. The teams could effectively be free to do whatever they liked aerodynamic wise to gain lap time and the Hanford would still give a following car a huge slipstream. Just like following a coach on the M1.

But something so simple must have been visited by the FIA in the past, and it's probably a red team that are opposed to it. Other colour teams are available :o)
