Maybe some comments show a lack of understanding in motorsport
randome grid? whats the point in qualifying then?
sprinklers? go power boat racing if u want to see water.
F1 is at the very top of our sport - the fastest cars full of cutting edge technology and rule curving.
If, like me, you dont get your complete 'fill' of motorsport from F1 (and I dont think you ever will) the answer is very very simple - watch MORE of it.
Oz V8's have been my favorite for the last few years, touring cars, Indy, Nascar and even the good old club race all contain more red mist than you can shake a stick at.
Every series has its nuance - some fabulous series to study, most tend to leave the rules consistant - One of F1's nuance is that it cant.
No more 'throw a bucket of water on the track' please!!!!, to make it more interesting - thats what you do to your indoor kart curcuit.....when you're bored ;-)
