Davy i am with you on this one , and there are forums that are modern that can have a thread view so that its easier to read like this forum ....

Have to say Alan if you don't think modern forums are better your stuck in the dark ages my friend ....

and why would you "not come here" if the layout changed , good content is what makes good forums better .And informed posters are always required to keep things moving .

having been around hundreds of forums since the bulletin board early days i am happy things have advanced .

I find the timeouts and general buggyness of this forum frustrating very very often .(like daily)
