Many of us know that F1 is not exactly 'reality'!

We don't follow it because it's some form of GOSPEL to us. We follow it because, when it's GOOD, it's BRILLIANT|!.

I only managed to record this Sunday's race and watch it much later (without knowing the result) and I was absolutely on the edge of my seat for much of the race. I didn't even stop it to go and make a cup of tea! What a GREAT race.....

I don't feel ashamed of watching it any more than I would feel ashamed of watching ANY OTHER fiction, e.g., .... King Lear! It's can be a VERY exciting drama/spectacle..... but I still know it's not the REAL world!
