The voice of millions of British children is not taken into account by the voting system, they are excluded on account of the fact they are 'under age'. I agree with Ian that only certain people should be allowed to vote. I would introduce a 'licence to vote', awarded to people who have passed an exam which tests their ability to understand and make considered judgements. 'Angry from Barking' on BBC R4 demonstrated that she was unable to do either of the above.
