Guys, my two cents worth. Do as I say, not as I do here.

Over the past 20+ years, I've owned and driven fast saloons on the road - Alfa GTV6, Capri 2.8i, Renault 5 Turbo, Alfa 75 Turbo, Sierra RS Cosworth, BMW M3 etc... Just a quick finger in the air calculation on the amount spent on the cars, parts, insurance etc... over that time would have been enough to buy a very nice house outright !

Please take this advice - buy something affordable, economical and reliable for the road. Don't drive the nuts off it on the road. Buy a track day car, racing car or kart for fun... and trailer that to/from the track. You will save an absolute fortune, have less worries and a lot more enjoyment.
