Here's another view point.

Politicians earn Ł60,675 a year (taken from spectator.co.uk in 2008). Gordon Brown, in the 2009/2010 year, only attended parliament for 492 sessions out of the 3352!! 14.7% attendance, and took home in the region of Ł188,000!!!

Personally, if you want to erase some of these debts, Members of Parliament should be made to pay back the money they STOLE from the taxpayers, and they should all take a pay cut to a figure that is reasonable!

HOW CAN ANYONE NEED EXPENSES COVERED WHEN THEY ARE EARNING Ł60k A YEAR!!!

Also, the head of my local council earns over Ł100,000! I couldn't even tell you who she is, let alone what she does!!!
