Aquila and dm8558... there's a subtle but very important difference between the TT and other motorsport events which is why I wrote the post above.

Competitors and spectators MAY die on other events. They WILL die on the TT. Its a certainty. That means in order for us all to have the TT, people need to die. Put another way, we can't have the TT without deaths.

It transcends the 'motorsport is dangerous' moniker. Its something altogether different when certainty is involved.
