We've had foreign managers, English managers, soft managers and hard managers... its still the same situation. There's no point in firing Capello. In my opinion its down to appalling performances on field by people like Rooney, Terry, Gerrard etc... These people can play properly for their clubs but CHOOSE not to do it when they're in an England shirt.

You hear people say that 'they're not happy'... well I'm sorry but if the rewards of a premiership salary and the pride of playing for your country aren't enough to make you happy - go away and shoite as far as I'm concerned.

You hear people say that they are a collection of individuals and 'can't play together'. Well these guys have had the same amount of time together as every other national side and those sides don't have any problem.

No its not the manager that needs to be sacked... its these players. With the exception of David James [who himself is past his best]... most of the others should be ruled out of an England spot indefinitely. It was a truely disgraceful campaign in S.A. and Capello needs to bite the bullet and start again for the Euro qualifiers with a young untried squad. Why ? Because he's unlikely to do much worse and maybe, just maybe, they'll treat playing in their national colours a bit more seriously than these clowns.
