Lets not single out Ferrari on this. In the past, Ferrari were the most honest team with a clear number 1 driver.
If you look at Red Bull giving Vettel Webber's front wing, or telling Webber to save fuel and allowing Vettel to continue running at optimum. Or McLaren telling Button to hold station behind Lewis. It goes on in all the teams, it's just Ferrari are least well versed in doing it covertly.
The only way you will effectively rid the sport of team orders is to rid the sport of teams and that simply isn't going to happen. Team orders had been part of the sport from inception to 2002, after which they were banned. The sport was fine before that and issues have only arisen since.
