Nope.....

Adrian ROLLS back onto the track without his wheels locked..... wathc the direction change of the car...... locked wheels DO NOT steer a car!And, I can tell you for LONG experience, that's a TOTAL HOWLER!

As a matter of practice for your future.... NEVER do that! It'll get you EVERYTIME! And the accident that ensues is SEVERE to EXTREME!!

Had Adrian locked his brakes during the spin.... he would had simply slid-away. Had he STEERED properly, he would have REMAINED off the track! He did neither and was collected..... HARD! ....exactly as would have been expected!
