It's probable that SOMETIME in the future they WILL be 'practical, enfordceable, affordable'...... but that day is FAR ahead...... unless you have a design that WILL work.... becasue NONE of the others have.... so far!

If you DO have a design, I know people who would LIKE to help you with it..... however, yours is NOT the first 'proposal' that has been looked-at and there have been a number which contain the ideas YOU are suggesting already..... and they CANNOT work..... so far!

When you work on your design and try to apply it to the 'real world' they get HORRENDOUS! And the erros are not hard to find!

The errors with Gatsos do NOT lead to ALL drivers footing a Ł1,500 bill. Nor do they lead to DEATHS if they fail in some malign way. Any form of 'in-car-aunty-knows-best' system COULD lead to GIGANTIC numbers of 'stuck throttle' claims or 'engine-dies-while-overtaking' claims a-la Toyota. The cost of ONE of those claims could be in the BILLIONS!

Look HARD at your proposal and you'll see vast CHASMS of 'problems'.... and these are problems which could lead to LITIGATION!
