I am DELIGHTED to see you have droped the RFIDF approach..... asi told you, it is COMPLRETELY unworkable.... we HAVE looked at it!

Next, you've moved to transponders in the road..... power supply?.. COST....? PRACTICAIOLITY.... drivers over5-rioding your transmission which SET those limits? drivers digging UP a 70mph transponder and GLUING it to the underside of their car..?

Using cameras to SEE the speed signs...... what about a driver thating a photo of a 70mph sihgn and GLUING it to the camera lense.....? And so on....

You are missing the POINT....we have LOOKED at these ideas and they are UNWORKABLE the moment you apply ANY 'challenging' thoughts to them.....

Your idea of stopping all the cars after crossing a 'new limit' seems BRILLIANT..... until you apply the 'three laws' to it.... Practical..? Hardly! Enforceable...? wWth SOME difficulty employing THAT number of staff.... there are NOT enoughy unemployed people in EUROPE to man such sites....? Affordable..? You get the point!

As I said... you have NOT suggested ANYTHING that we haven't looked at yet (except the manned check points...... naturally....)..... come up with a NEW idea and THINK IT THROUGH and then I can get it put forward...... however, on the current evidence...... I don't think you HAVE any good ideas on it, so far!

If you think you can 'engineer-out' the problems with the RFID.... it MIGHT be promising...... The makers of RFID equipment did NOT think that T*H*E*Y could do it!
