The BEEB did once show Ben's face during a stunt on Top gear. It was the program that showed them trying to land a parachuteist into a Merc convertable. The driver was clearly seen to be Ben but no one mentioned the driver at the time, why was it not Clarkson, May or Hammond? Any keen observer could have put 2 and 2 together then.
