If the pocket and birthday generosity stretches (lol!) can't recommend palmersport at Bedford autodrome highly enough - superb day, fantastic cars, great instructors who will let you push to the limit and beyond.

Have a look on their website - they do late availability offers to fill space plus I think for this year they have introduced half day sessions.
