why do you care ?
one person's silliness is another persons seriousness. You might laugh but i doubt the people you are laughing at are hearing it. Each to their own and it takes a certain smugness to think you know best, i personally think most people spend way too much time judging others and actually pretending to care about things that don't actually matter. Who actually defined what a 4x4 is actually intended ? i did a search on google and i couldnt find a defintive manifesto for it, no laws governing why people can and cant own one, up to them and why should they listen to you on why they shouldnt own one ?
