but i did take your advice and emailed the site owners, copy of email

"been a member of the forum for quite a few years and never felt the need to contact you but certain members are posting "jokes" that contain racist words or at best play on "racist words", mistakes happen but the same members after being warned they are outside of what is acceptable and legal on a public forum seem intent on carrying on, i did start a new thread to explain that caution is needed as posts of this nature can cause problems for the forum, the owners of the forum and the hosts of the forum but even though i was reasonable with the "why" the same members carried on.

i dont think this is acceptable on a public forum viewed by all ages and goes against the rules i signed up to (which i agree with)

as a union rep i live and breathe this stuff and certain words like "wog", "paki" should never be used in their original form or as part of a joke on a public forum

i have seen 1st hand how hard "the equality and human rights commission" deal with racist material on forums, they have robust policys and do not let go, the forum doesnt deserve that for a couple of misjudged jokes but if not stepped on i can see more posts of this nature.

it is your forum so just raising the issue and let you judge what is acceptable
