His speed would not have been a factor had he been driving in Latvia instead of England. Similarly, if my Aunt had B*LLS she would be my Uncle.

In all three cases, that was NOT the case..... my Aunt does NOT have B*LLS, the Policeman WAS in England and he DID hit the stationary car....

Clearly, you know nothing about the case but, suffice it to say, the ONLY error made by the policeman (other than being a CRETIN) was his SPEED (in those conditions, location, time, etc.) He made ZERO other errors.... it was ONLY his speed. His speed was in EXCESS of the speed limit and thus 'speeding' (the crime of exceeding the legally marked speed limit) WAS the SOLE CAUSE......

Now.... what's really going on here is that IDIOTS like you are DESPERATE to claim that 'Speed doesn't kill' and/or that 'SPEEDING does not kill'. In this case, BOTH those arguments are DESTROYED! The car was in PERFECT condition, the Policeman was FULLY trained (long term, VERY highly trained police TRAINER!), he was FULLY capable of handling the car at those speeds, he made ZERO other errors, etc., etc., etc.. His LETHAL error was a SINGLE one..... he was SPEEDING in the 30mph zone and it was the SPEED of his car that killed the young nurse...... there are Z*E*R*O other factors here....... it was ONLY the speeding and the speed which kiled this nurse.

The nurse had stopped at traffic lights placed there with ALL the legally required signs and 'planning permissions'. ANY car at 30mph or even FIFTY mph could have EASILY stopped within the warning distance. Any car at 50mph COULD have stopped within the SEEING distance. The policeman was at over 100mph just before the impact and the impact was recorded at EIGHTY mph..... no road car on the PLANET could have stopped within the warning distance nor the seeing distance at THAT sort of speed.

I can go on for HOURS about this case.... there are ZERO other errors in this one.... the SOLE error was the S*P*E*E*D!

Now..... you will argue that this was a special case and an exception which 'Proves the rule'..... B*LL*CKS it does! This is the PERFECT example of speed killing!

I can give you chapter and verse on this case. It was THE case which lead to the BANNING of the Met. High Speed Training team being allowed to use Cambridgeshire roads. Even the POLICE will not tolerate such OFFENSIVE driving from their own...

.. however, the courts did NOT penalise the driver in ANY reasnable manner...... That's ANOTHER matt6er!

You will bleat about 'other causes' but EVERYONE will know that this one IS the proof..... no matter HOW you try to wriggle..... but... I can't stop you trying......

My SOLE reason for bringing up this case is to show what a JOKE the claim of 'speed doesn't kill' REALLY is!

It PROVABLY did in THIS case!
