Sorry, yes is the correct answer. Kinetic energy is measured by velocity and the scaler absolute value (magnitute) of velocity is speed. Was going to put it in capitals but you know what I mean.

And thank goodness for that or there would be more road traffic collisions, or did you forget that that was the message of the ads, not random speed killing people.

So you're agreeing with me or not? One can drive carelessly or recklessly without death occuring. Increase the speeds and the chance of collision and death is higher.

But it does in so many recurring incidents that a link has been drawn, and someone felt it important enough to warn people of the dangers.

I can see you are just one of those people who like to argue your point, probably to try to get a rise out of people more than anything. Sorry, but no sale here. Black crows are still black in my world and driving with excess speed for the conditions is still dangerous.
