lets keep in mind that Stoner himself is only 57kg... Pedrosa weighing in at 52kg. Rossi is 67kg. All taken from the info provided at Le Mans this weekend. When the bikes are an equal weight and about 240hp I think the advantage his weight gives him from a standing start or out of a slow corner is countered by the ability to man handle the bike more from someone like Rossi. Simoncelli is the tallest guy on the grid and one of the heaviest, I don't see him struggling too much. I think keep the bikes at a regulated weight and leave the rider weights alone.
