Just fyi, I have had several alfas on the trot, 1979 Alfa Sprint 1.7, 1996 Alfa 146 1.6 boxer, 1999 Alfa 146 2.0ts, 2001 Alfa 156sw 1.8ts and now 2006 Alfa 159sw 1.9jtdm, and I have never had a single electrical issue with any of them. Infact I have never had so much of a hiccup from any of them. The problem seems to be to me (I work on them for people I know who have them, and their friends, and their friends friends etc) is that people dont look after them and dont service them properly.....thats when they have problems. They are great cars but they do take a lot of looking after, if you do however they are just as reliable as any other marque
