Ahh, I see what you mean now. On reviewing the race, we can clearly see JB pull into the pits after Teflonso tried a ridiculous move taking himself out and puncturing JB's tyre. While there, JB nipped round the back of the pits and traded a cow for magic tyres (he got these from the same person who sold Jack the magic beans for the beanstalk). McClaren then slipped them on without anyone noticing and THATS what made the car so much faster than everyone else.
Good job you spotted that one Paul, they would have got away with it if it hadn't of been for you, you meddling kid you!
So it was bad luck that he was hit which, with the addition of magic beans, sorry tyres, turned into good luck.
