Im sorry but i couldn't function when we just had the 5 channels so had to get sky, ok since then freeview has arrived but i've never bothered with that either. I subscribe to sports and the entertainment/history/discovery channels for Ł40 a month, its not a great deal when all the bills are spilt down the middle with the mrs, alright we could do without having to fork out the Ł40 but that would mean freeview.....arghhh!!!

What i do begrudge paying extra for is HD, sky want a extra Ł10 for that but to be honest my 55" samsung LED is that good i can't really see a difference from SD to HD, i'm happy watching Sky Sports F1 in SD
