i had a limp mode prob on my van recently,,, i had put the wrong engine oil in and it was recording thin oil... if your van isnt in limp mode then it could be the pedals, i had a few mercs and wen stood they wont rev past 3k anyway but when u drive them they will. maybe a speed sensor somwhere?
